10 March 2010: Workshops for countries participating in the UN Collaborative Programme on Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation in Developing Countries (UN-REDD) and the Forest Carbon Partnership Fund (FCPF) were held in Nairobi, Kenya, from 1-3 March 2010, and Hanoi, Viet Nam, from 8-10 March 2010. 
10 March 2010: Researchers from the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) and the International Crop Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) have released a paper titled “Climate change impacts on livestock production and adaptation strategies: A global scenario.” The paper was presented at the National Symposium on Climate Change and Rainfed Agriculture, which convened from 18-20 February 2010, in Hyderbad, India. 
9 March 2010: The International Conference on Access to Civil Nuclear Energy convened in Paris, France, from 8-9 March 2010, to discuss the promotion of nuclear energy technology for peaceful purposes. 
9 March 2010: The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has circulated 30 fact sheets for the celebration of the International Year of Biodiversity 2010. The fact sheets provide a brief synopsis on key issues related to the CBD and the Biosafety Protocol, including climate change and biodiversity.
9 March 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published reports submitted in 2009 of the individual reviews of the annual submissions of: Spain (FCCC/ARR/2009/ESP), Australia (FCCC/ARR/2009/AUS) and Bulgaria (FCCC/ARR/2009/BGR). 
8 March 2010: The 15th meeting of the Poverty Environment Partnership (PEP 15), which took place from 1-5 March 2010, in Lilongwe, Malawi, convened under the theme “Climate and Environment Mainstreaming and the Green Economy to Achieve the Millennium Development Goals.” 
25 February 2010: The European Commission has adopted a report on sustainability criteria for solid and gaseous biomass used in electricity, heating and cooling, which offers non-binding recommendations for sustainability criteria and monitoring methodologies for EU member States that wish to voluntarily adopt national biomass schemes.
