9 March 2010: The European Environment Agency has published the third biodiversity message in its series of ‘10 messages for 2010,’ which focuses on freshwater ecosystems, and highlights links with climate change.
January 2010: The World Health Organization (WHO) published its Fact Sheet N°266 on “Climate change and health,” which includes sections on: the impact of climate change on health; extreme heat; natural disasters and variable rainfall patterns; patterns of infection; measuring health effects; sectors of the population at risk; and the WHO response.
11 February 2010: The most recent issue of Science for Environment Policy, the newsletter published by the European Commission to inform policy makers of recent research findings, includes several pieces on climate change and a special thematic issue on climate change and health. 
February 2010: The World Health Organization (WHO) has published a draft discussion paper titled “Gender, climate change and health.” 
8 February 2010: The UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Weekly newsletter, for the period 8-12 February 2010, reports on the first meeting of the Working Group on Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation for the UNECE region, which convened on 5 February 2010, in Geneva, Switzerland. 
February 2010: The UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has published the statement and recommendations from the UNESCO International Year of Biodiversity (IYB) Science Policy Conference, which took place in Paris, France, from 25-29 January 2010. The Statement recognizes that biodiversity provides critical goods and services on which our lives depend, including the stabilization of climate.
