The 16th Session of the Committee on Environmental Policy of the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) will address, among other agenda items, climate change and its impacts on various sectors of the countries under the Environmental Performance Review programme. In addition, it will discuss the contribution to the climate change agenda of the implementation of UNECE environmental agreements (which address public participation, water, industrial accidents, air pollution and environmental impact assessment).
