On 14 July, as part of the Coordination Segment, the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) will hold a round table discussion on “Towards a UN comprehensive response to the challenges of climate change.” On 15 July, as part of the Operational activities segment, a thematic panel discussion will be held on “The current economic, food and climate change crises and their effects on the achievement of the MDGs: the role of UN system’s support to national efforts.”
