The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) organizes this Conference to discuss how climate change mitigation and adaptation can best be tackled in an economically efficient manner, including by ensuring sufficient incentives for participation by all. Analytical input to the Conference will include work by OECD both on the Economics of Climate Change Mitigation and on the Economics of Adaptation. The aim of the work is to build understanding of the elements of what might be needed for an internationally feasible, inclusive and cost-effective post-2012 architecture to mitigate climate change.
