12 May 2009: The Communication, Education, Participation and Awareness (CEPA) Programme of the Ramsar Secretariat has released advance information on Worlds Wetlands Day 2010, which will be celebrated on 2 February around the theme “Wetlands, Biodiversity, and Climate Change.” The theme relates to 2010 being proclaimed the International Year of Biodiversity and to the impacts of climate change for present and future wetland ecosystem health.
