12 March 2010: The World Health Organization (WHO) and the UN Development Programme (UNDP) have launched the first global project on public health adaptation to climate change. The project involves a series of pilot projects that will seek to increase the adaptive capacity of national health system institutions, including field practitioners, to respond to health risks associated with climate variability and change.
11 March 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released a new batch of audio files in their Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Audio File Service. These new files cover the basic workings of the CDM and include topics such as additionality, the CDM programme of activities and regional distribution of CDM projects. 
11 March 2010: The UN International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR) has launched the 2010-2011 World Disaster Reduction Campaign “Making Cities Resilient,” which focuses on raising political commitment to disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation among local governments and mayors.
10 March 2010: The UN Development Programme (UNDP) has released a report titled "Screening Tools and Guidelines to Support the Mainstreaming of Climate Change Adaptation into Development Assistance – A Stocktaking Report."
5 March 2010: During a ceremony held at the UN University (UNU) in Tokyo, Japan, Konrad Osterwalder, UNU Rector, and Mai Trong Nhuan, Viet Nam National University (VNU) President signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in education, research on sustainable development, curriculum development and e-learning, and capacity development of staff and students. 
19 February 2010: The International Civil Aviation Authority’s (ICAO) Committee on Aviation Environmental Protection's (CAEP) met at ICAO headquarters from 1-12 February 2010, in Montreal, Canada, and announced the ICAO's commitment to the development of a carbon dioxide standard for commercial aircraft by 2013. This effort would result in the first global fuel-efficiency standard for any industry sector. 
4 March 2010: The UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is organizing a series of regional expert consultations between March and May 2010, with a view to assessing the advisability of a Universal Declaration of Ethical Principles in Relation to Climate Change. 
3 March 2010: On the sidelines of the Africa Carbon Forum, taking place in Nairobi, Kenya, from 3-5 March 2010, the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), Standard Bank and the German Government’s International Climate Initiative have partnered to launch the Africa Carbon Asset Development (ACAD) Facility.
