31 March 2010: Connie Hedegaard, European Commissioner for Climate Action, is holding bilateral talks on climate change with developed and developing countries, to follow up on the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference. Hedegaard visited the US and Mexico in early March 2010, met with the Chinese delegation in late March in Brussels, Belgium, and will visit Maldives and India in early April.
30 March 2010: The 2010 Joint Annual Meetings of the African Union (AU) Conference of Ministers of Economy and Finance, and the UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) Conference of Ministers of Finance, Planning and Development, took place on 29-30 March 2010, in Lilogwe, Malawi. The meetings were preceded by the Committee of Experts meeting, which took place from 25-28 March 2010. 
26 March 2010: The World Trade Organization's (WTO) Trade Negotiations Committee meeting took place from 22-26 March 2010, in Geneva, Switzerland. This stocktaking week on the status of the Doha negotiations evaluated progress in negotiations on environmental goods and services (EGS). 
24 March 2010: The UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Economic Research and Statistics Division of the World Trade Organization (WTO) organized a workshop titled “Emerging Trade Measures in Timber Markets” on 23 March 2010, in Geneva, Switzerland.
19 March 2010: A Special high-level meeting of UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) with the Bretton Woods institutions, the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), took place on 18-19 March 2010, in New York, US, under the theme “Building on Monterrey and Doha: towards achieving the internationally agreed development goals, including the Millennium Development Goals.” During the meeting, participants highlighted climate change as a pressing challenge for international financial institutions. 
19 March 2010: The Climate Investment Funds (CIF) held several back-to-back meetings from 15-19 March 2010, in Manila, the Philippines, hosted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), where plans were unveiled to mobilize some US$40 billion for country-led low carbon growth. 
12 February 2010: The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has published a working paper on "Assessing the Role of Microfinance in Fostering Adaptation to Climate Change," which focuses on delivery mechanisms to channel adaptation resources towards the poor, who are also often the most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change.
16 March 2010: The Trust Fund Committee of the Clean Technology Fund (CTF), which met on 15 March 2009, in Manila, the Philippines, endorsed US$400 million in funding for Indonesia's geothermal power sector to meet the Government's goal of reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 26% by 2020.
