4 February 2010: The European Commission has announced a series of immediate and future measures to address the cyber attacks on the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) registries that occurred on 28 January 2010.
3 February 2010: Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), highlighted that upcoming meetings in the first half of 2010, such as the OECD-International Energy Agency (IEA) Annex I Expert Group meetings in February and April, as well as a workshop on new issues in carbon markets, provide opportunities to make progress in climate change negotiations leading to the 16th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC, scheduled to take place in November-December 2010, in Cancun, Mexico. 
1 February 2010: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will carry out a comprehensive study on the economics of climate change in China, Japan, the Republic of Korea and Mongolia. 
31 January 2010: Climate change was the topic of several of the events held at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, which took place in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, from 27-31 January 2010. 
25 January 2010: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has announced that it will provide a US$0.7 million grant, financed by the Government of Japan, to build the capacity of Bhutan’s National Environment Commission for developing mitigation and adaptation measures that can counter climate change. 
18 January 2010: The World Bank and Daiwa Securities Group announced the issuance of green bonds to support projects for low-carbon development, designed specifically for investors in Japan. 
January 2010: The Climate Investment Funds (CIF) have announced the extension of a deadline to submit expressions of interest to participate in the first projects to be funded by the Forest Investment Programs (FIP).
