26 February 2010: The UN Development Programme (UNDP) participated in a post-Copenhagen debriefing meeting on 23 February 2010, in Dili, Timor Leste, underlining its commitment to addressing climate change in Timor-Leste. 
16 February 2010: The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has released EX-ACT (EX-ante Appraisal Carbon-balance Tool), a land-based accounting tool that provides ex-ante measurements of the impacts of agriculture and forestry projects on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and carbon sequestration. 
February 2010: The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has released a booklet titled "Carbon Finance Possibilities for Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use (AFOLU) Projects in a Smallholder Context." The booklet aims to guide extension service advisors and institutions who work with small-scale farmers and foresters with an interest in carbon finance and carbon projects. 
26 February 2010: The Agriculture Ministers of member States of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) met in Paris, France, and adopted a Communiqué that, among other issues, emphasizes the challenges and opportunities presented by climate change for the agricultural sector. 
25 February 2010: The UN Environment Programme (UNEP) has announced that the Government of India has joined the Plant for the Planet: Billion Tree Campaign by planting two billion trees since 2007, bringing the international campaign's total to over 10 billion planted trees worldwide. 
16 February 2010: The International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) has signed an agreement with the Egyptian Government that will focus on maximizing the efficiency of water use by Egyptian farmers to adapt to the challenges of climate change. 
February 2010: The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has released "The State of Food and Agriculture 2009: Livestock in the balance," which examines the role of livestock in: food security and poverty reduction; the environment and climate change; and human and animal health.
