22 February 2010: The Heads of State and Government of Mexico and the Member States of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) gathered for their first Summit in the Mexican Riviera Maya on 21 February 2010, to discuss tackling joint challenges, including climate change.
18 February 2010: The Regional Coordination Mechanism for Latin America and the Caribbean of the UN system met in Mexico City, Mexico, to discuss the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), climate change, the political situation in the region, and the UN's contribution to regional cooperation. 
17 February 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released the report of the individual review of the annual submission of Luxembourg submitted in 2009 (FCCC/ARR/2009/LUX). 
18 February 2010: European Commission President José Manuel Barroso has written to EU Heads of State and Government outlining next steps in the Commission's work on climate change. 
18 February 2010: Yvo de Boer has announced that he will resign his position as UNFCCC Executive Secretary as of 1 July 2010.
18 January 2010: The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has released an information note on the potential role for agriculture in the post-Copenhagen process. 
February 2010: The Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) Secretariat has circulated its Monthly Bulletin of Activities for January 2010, including a report on a workshop on innovative financial mechanisms, which addressed, among other items, climate change funding and biodiversity.
